Subsidised to Private at KKH
Hello mummies, FTM here, got referral from GP(under CHAS scheme), and waiting for appointment date from KKH. Has anyone gone through this route? If you were to switch from subsidised to private at KKH, at which point do you do so? Most likely will be sticking to KKH as the hospital has all my medical records.
Brown discharge
Hi mummies, I'm currently 7 weeks and second pregnancy. I previously miscarried at 21 weeks last year. This pregnancy around my 5th week i saw brown discharge on my liner about 20cents size. I have yet to go for my first appointment then so I called the clinic. Doctor did a vaginal scan, saw a gestational sac. Baby was very tiny hiding at the far most corner of the gestational sac. Doc said seems like a miscarriage is on the way or a threatened miscarriage. That was the only brown discharge I had. There was a little brown clumps too when Doctor removed the vaginal tube from below. 2 days later I had very light brown discharge. Also very tiny spot. Doc gave me progesterone pills. Take 2. 2 times a day. I've been taking it. Currently having severe food aversion. I can't seem to eat anything or keep anything down. I feel very nauseous. Not much vomiting but super nauseous. Everyday I'm worried. My appointment date got pushed to 2 weeks ahead. I have a toddler. Super active and clingy. He wants me to carry and I really feel so scared to carry him too. And that makes me feel so bad and terrible. Has anyone had brown discharge at 7 weeks?
Maternity insurance
Did anyone buy any maternity insurance? Which did u go for and how much does it cost? Currently 14 weeks and thinking if I should purchase one. #Needadvice
Baby position
When will baby head turn down? I went for check up on week 29 and baby head still upright. Although the doctor say it’s ok, still early but kinda unsure and hope it will turn down soon. :D
Cramps + spotting
Is it concerning to have spotting + cramps at the same time. At my 5 going 6weeks. Everytime i go to the toilet and wipe will have the stain. Sometimes when walk just close distance it will come out. Should i get it check? My first appointment is in 2weeks time :(
Worried First Time Mummy
Currently at 7w6d, no morning sickness but bloating. Sour smells turn me off, some days appetite are good, other days not so. Had a scan at 6w and only had a gestational sac, waiting for my next scan on Tuesday. Hoping that pregnancy is progressing. Today felt so overwhelmed with emotions that I cried.
Ankle in pain
My right side ankle is always painful when i send my eldest daughter to school , its like a 10 min walk tgt with travel back home. But it started to be in pain like after 5 mins . And my hand is swelling bad too 😭 its my 4th pregnancy and i finally have a babyboy after 3 girls , and the swelling plus ankle happens to me for the first time . Any home treatment i can do?
how to survive..
When vomiting is so bad you even vomit out the nausea pills ? Almost 16 weeks.. How long more do I need to survive this...
Sleepless night
Im almost 29 weeks preggy.. ive been having sleepless nights recently..no matter how mny pillows i have, i still cant sleep. Turn left & right doesnt even work. #firstbaby #1stpregnnt any suggestion or advise mummies ?
Anyone knows of female gynae that does abortion? Thanks.
