Worried First Time Mummy

Currently at 7w6d, no morning sickness but bloating. Sour smells turn me off, some days appetite are good, other days not so. Had a scan at 6w and only had a gestational sac, waiting for my next scan on Tuesday. Hoping that pregnancy is progressing. Today felt so overwhelmed with emotions that I cried.

Hey I know it’s hard but don’t get too worried now. I’m also a FTM, went for 1st scan thinking I’m 6 weeks but also only saw gestational sac and only saw fetal pole and detected heartbeat on the following week. It turned out I just turned 6 weeks then! Counting your gestational term using last menstrual period is not the most accurate, just need to wait it out more give it time to grow and develop

I know. I was so sure it was blighted and the pregnancy test line also changed from solid to light — but it’s normal it’s called the Hook Effect can google it. So don’t scare yourself! If you’re not experiencing nausea yet I’d say just go enjoy first, I’m in W9 now and it’s really not fun
