Any mummies quarrel with their hubby about how to take care or teach their LO? I just had a big quarrel with my hubby. He been very strict to my 1 month old. Saying that now must not pamper him too much or he will be spoil. But I strongly disagree with him. I think baby can't be spoil until they are like 6 months or bigger. As a mother how can u stop a mother from giving too much love to their LO.
Stay at home moms who purely depend on husband's income, do you manage to give gifts to your spouse during special ocassions? I always wanted to but I don't have the means. I can't work yet because our little one is just 15 months old and I'm still breastfeeding. Do you think it's a big deal to him?
My mother in law stay with me weekday and weekend she will go to my sister in law house stay. Both my sister in laws stay together and I am not get along with both. The youngest one ever used knife to threaten me and pick on me when I am at home which I ask her to go out. From Thereon she seldom come. But recently quarrel with her sister and she will come and stay with my mother in law. She just hide in the room which I am fine. But recently both quarrel at my house and my window grills spoil because she attempt to suicide. ( I wasn't around that time). My 3 kids were at home that time but my helper said all never see what happens. I told my husband I don't want her to stay here forever. Short term and not create trouble is okay but if they want to quarrel please go out. My husband tell me he will go out too as she is her sister. So sad that my husband side her。 what would you do? I told my helper, anything happens please call me or worse please call police. My husband happens passby and he was very angry.
Mil always talk broken English mixed with Chinese with my lo !! Feel so irritating .. this is the age when they learn and keep talk broken English to her. I dunno what to do. Hub also didn't say anything ! Argh !!!
How harmful is it for kids to witness their parents fighting?
I do not have the habit to call my mil mum or fil Father.. cos I am not staying with them .. and have bad impression with them. Not in good terms too. So when I didn't called them Mother or Father, my hub say I got no manner. What can I do?
How much do you spend for a month of baby Milk powder , babywipes and pampers and baby food etc ?
Just want to rant.. Dont understand why my child i cant make the decision myself just because my husband dont really bother.. just like yesterday had dinner with in law. My son having flu and cough so at night go out suppose to be wearing something hotter. So i wear him 2 clothes. But in law keep say he sweating why give him wear 2 clothes. I keep repeating myself saying he having cough and flu.. but nevermind this.. The other, my son shyt and the smell stain on the pants and for very long time so the pampers wet and the pants wet (not say very wet). So my in law change him and ask me to not let him wear pants. I was like nevermind lah. Just let him wear. Then she give me the what the hell face and carry my son walk away.. What the big deal? And we are about to go home already also.. never wear pants even colder at night.. And i dont really really understand why, at night my son is looking for me and yet my in law and her whole family love to carry my son far far away from my sight when he was looking for me instead.. they rather give him cry than carry right back to me.. being a mother is 24/7 standby.. they keep say 'let mummy rest awhile la' i was like, my own child and he is looking for me isnt it should pass back to me instead? that was why i dont really like to meet them at all... End of ranting.. thank you mummies for reading(:
When you have problems in the family, do you let your children know about it or you hide it from them?
We will be bringing my 13 month old for overseas trip in a week's time .. can share some meal ideas ? Like what I can prepare overseas? I'll be gg to Chiangmai . Should be bringing my electric lunch box . But dunno if vegetables n meat are hard to get over there .. pls share some meal ideas :)
