Starfire DIY Costume HELP!!!

My kid wants to dress up as Starfire of Teen Titans for Halloween. How do I make this??? Looks so complicated, and I am so not crafty at all

Need to be very close or can modify? I’m usually on the “lazier” side. I’m thinking if you can get a (dark) purple dress and wear those knee length socks. Use a light purple “scarf” or diy or light purple rope as belt since a child’s waist is very slim.

Just read that penguin random house is setting up its south east asia headquarters in Singapore. This is to promote local and international books for kids from the region. Would you actually buy your kids books by authors from Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore ? Do you have recommended authors?

Omg, I heard burger shack is opening up at jewel Changi Airport!! I can’t wait to have the shack burger, shack cago dog and the crinkle cut fries. Does anyone know when it exactly opens?!

Expired medicines by KKH

How come KKH is dispensing expired medicine? Second case this year. This time round they dispenser expired nose drops for a 2 month old baby. The last time, in May, they dispensed a used nasal spray and bottle of nose drops for a young girl. :(

That is indeed sad. Luckily, parents are generally vigilant when they buy meds. If not, we should all be!

I’ve been thinking about the cost of education in Singapore and would like some advice or feedback.

Like most parents, my children’s education is priority and I also know how expensive it can be. With this, I am also worried of my own retirement - that I would not have saved enough. I also don’t expect my kids to look after me (financially) and I don’t wish to be a burden to them. Any thoughts on this? How should I go about planning my retirement yet supporting my kids’ education to the best of my ability?

I think you should start at being very clear of which your top most priority is. For us, we want assure that we can provide our son with the best that we can. Having said that, my husband and I did decide on the allocations of our income and savings prior to having a child. If you didn’t do that, don’t think it’s too late for you. What you can do is analyse your finances and then decide on the allocations based on importance.

funeral

any parents divorcee here. i m going through a divource, my husband forced me to put in the deed that my child must attend his patents funeral in the event they no longer around. my child is only 2 yrs and 6months. what the f*** he is thinking. i m the care and control. custody of the child is me. what do i do?? he forcing me to say that must attend and its not a day thingy but until the whole funeral. what i do.

Are you close with your in laws? If yes, then it should be a good idea to do that.

Caught having an affair.

This is my story... I don’t know where to begin. Facebook, Skout, Line, Tango, Beetalk, WeChat, Tinder, these are all amazing apps which technology has produced for everyone who needs them. There are many communication/dating/social media apps out there... but in the wrong hands, many despicable things can happen. I’m a married man, with wonderful children and a very dedicated wife. Overtime, the marriage started to be unexciting. The sex started to be bland... that was when the 7-year-itch started. I started chatting with random women online through these apps. I hid my hand phone from my wife constantly. She never suspected anything. My job requires me to work late. And it’s quite normal for my wife and kids to be asleep after I reach home from work on a normal day. I’ve been using some of these communication apps since they were innocently launched, for official business and keeping in touch with overseas friends. But over the years, these apps made finding people easier and easier. It made chatting easier. It doesn’t need any face-to-face awkwardness. You just start a conversation with a simple “hi”, and things can get out of hand from there. Anyway, I was caught by my wife. It was the worst feeling seeing her anguish and distraught self over many months of late night crying. I came to my senses, I broke off my affair, it was difficult. I deleted my other social apps and its accounts, and kept the ones I only needed for family. I changed my job and got home everyday, at dinner time, to spend meaningful time with my family. I told my wife everything. She forgave me. Till today, my only dedication/time/money is only for my family. I’ve made a personal promise to never jeopardize my marriage, family, every again.
