Eating light snacks and sweet during labour

I love sour gummy. So I am wondering if we are allowed to eat sweets in labour room. Was hoping it will ease the pain from contractions.

Don’t think so. I wasn’t allowed to eat (I was starvingggg)😭.

Mixing left and right breastmilk

Hi, ftm here. Is it ok to mix left and right breastmilk into one storage bag and freeze it ?

Mucus plugs and cramps

Did a cervical check ytd morning, not dilated yet but noticed my mucus plug dropped at night. Even till now when i wipe i still see it. Having on off cramps as well, it comes and go. Unable to time it like normal contractions cos quite irregular. So i’m not sure if its contractions or just normal cramping? Should i head to the delivery suite already? Afraid that they will ask me to go home and wait for more contractions 😰

Wait until your contractions are more regular, lasting for a minute for every 5 minutes for an hour. But if you can't stand the pain from the cramps, you should just head to the delivery suite.

Baby weight at 37 week day 4

My baby weight is currently 3.2 is that considered a big baby? I’m worried I won’t be able to go for natural delivery

38 weeks pregnant

Hi mummies, I’ve been having cramps everyday and I poo every single day. Is that a sign that labour is near?

Hello! I’m also not sure if labour is near but I am experiencing the same thing as you! And whenever I need to poo my stomach will hurt and it’s very urgent kind of poo 😅

Is it water bag leaks or watery discharge?

I felt 2 tiny release of liquid and noticed my panties was wet. Not sure if its discharge or waterbag leakage. Changed to a dry panties and observed for few hrs now so far no leakage anymore. Not really experiencing any contractions either just on off very mild cramps. Do you think I shld go to the hosp to check? Or continue waiting and observing? I’m 38 weeks+ turning 39 soon. My gynae visit is in 2 days though

I went to a&e for suspected water bag break. Turns out it's just pee. Nurse told me if your waterbag breaks its like a water tap that cant be turned off. It'll keep leaking water. If it stops, it shoudnt be that then. The bill was $300 plus for a trip to a&e so think carefully before going.

Hi, a v worried mummy here/ anyone has done a liver test after high jaundice has subsided till a level of 120? The liver test result shows high direct level and indirect levels and GTT. Can u all share more eg if your baby turned out fine and how to improve the levels?

KKH formula milk

Hello mummies who just recently gave birth at KKH, able to share what formula milk do they serve to your newborn? Between private and subsidized, they will serve the same brand of milk right? I’m nearly 38 weeks, popping soon!

KKH formula milk changes every 3 months. Brands that they use are Dulac, Lactogen. Not too sure if they use Similac too.

Post delivery claim

Hi May I check after delivery for subsidy patient in kkh how long did it take for you to receive the pre delivery claims?

Depends on paper work. Mine a few weeks after birth. Can be up to a month. It depends not everyone will be the same.
