Hair drop in my 18 month old

Did anyone experience your child hair coming out about 7-8 strands? I went to the doctor and the doctor told me it’s normal as the weak hair falling thankfully she doesn’t have any redness and bald patches

OBGYN appointments

I'm shopping around for a gynae now and wondering how I should schedule appointments with the new gynaes I'm considering. For e.g. my last appt was on 20 Sep when I'm at 14 weeks. For my first appt with my next gynae should I schedule it asap or just wait for 3 weeks since usually appts are 1 month apart in 2nd tri? #firsttimemom #advicepls #firstbaby #FTM

depends on whether you can afford the extra appts. if can just go ahead so your gynae can start to schedule you in before they get more pats

Bow legged toddler

My toddler 16months walks with legs outwards, seems bow legged. When I put her leg together, her legs have a gap in between. Any parents facing same issue?

My turning 17 mths old is bow legged as well. Usually they say their legs will be straighten as they aged- by all the walking and all. I dont worry much as of now as my LO has no difficulty to walk or experiencing discomfort from doing any mobile activities. Also to add on, i will usually massage his legs (tutorial on YT) every now and then. For me, nothing concerning. Unless you worry it might cause a permanent condition to her legs, you might want to check with PD and get some professional advice. Hope all will be well for you and LO. Sending hearts.

Working at home while taking care of toddler

Hi all.. just feeling very lost at this moment. Have anyone ever being the main caregiver and running a biz? I’ve been doing so the last one year and I think I did badly in handing my work. Esp when he’s now at the stage of a lot more active etc. ive got a helper but she’s new so i bring them whenever I have appts .im very hands on in both work n baby, but I’m very pressurized everyday as I can’t perform well at work anymore.. ;( felt like I am really not capable and I really feel like giving up on my biz. 😭😭

Weight gain foods

Why my baby can not weight gain still she is 9kgs

You can try giving avocado. If you’re worried about the growth, do consult your usual pd. They will have the record of your baby’s past weight till now, which they can use to see on the chart and percentile.

Refusing solids

My LO just turned 12 months and is refusing solids a lot. Especially will fight her high chair and any seat and will only eat when being carried in her baby sling. Otherwise she likes to walk around and generally hates being restrained (even in her stroller). Does anyone have advice? Worried that this will continue till playgroup and she won’t know how to be eat at the table with other kids. #Needadvice #firsttimemom

UHT or formula milk?

My LO just turned one last week, should I continue with feeding her formula (stage 3) or already start on UHT milk? She doesn’t eat a lot of solids yet, mainly porridge as she’s teething and fussy.

It depends on baby’s acceptance as well. I tried to transit my LO from bm to UHT/FM when she turned one but she gets very bad constipation from UHT (we tried a lot of brands). Not very good with solids as well for the first 2 years so we gave formula so she can at least have the nutrients from it. Now that she entered school and eating solids well (but she’s still on the smaller side), we tried to offer UHT but she didn’t want so we continue FM.
