Due today & low AFI

Today is my due date but no signs of labour. Doctor did a scan, said my aminotic fluid borderline low at 8cm. But my water bag didn't break yet. So she said to go PAC to scan again, if the doctor there said its ok, then I have another 6 days to give birth, if not I may get induced to give birth. Any mommies have this problem too?
