Normal ba na 17 months old yung mga nabibigkas nya ay 1st letter lang ng words? Bah is ball, yes is nyeah, ate is Tate, tita is tata, open is pen, more is mow. Tuwid Ang mama at papa. Sa animals yung sounds yung ginagamit nya instead of names. Dami sya si Sabi na diko ma gets. Marunong naman sya utusan, may eye contact, may social skills, kumakain mag isa, tumatakbo, other than that yung speech talaga iniisip ko. a 1 year old can speak up to 5 words. kaya hindi pa masasabi kung speech delayed ang bata. but i did speech therapy sa anak ko at 1 year old. eventually, ang dami na niang words na alam at clear ang pagbigkas nia. at 2 years old, as per pedia ay makapag phrases sia. so nagworry kami kaya we enrolled her sa playschool sa therapy center. and tinuruan kami on how to teach our child. hindi raw nia need mag speech therapy based ffrom assessment. need lang to improve social skills and communication. she can speak in sentences at 3yo. keep on talking to your child. you can consult dev ped or therapy center if worried for early intervention.
