Chronic phelgm before pregnancy

Hi mummies, I have chronic phelgm (see many GP and tcm but still not recovering) before pregnancy (like constantly need to spit out phelgm in throat kind and need to clear my throat). I recently found out I’m pregnant. With my chronic phelgm, I am afraid within my body there is some kind of infection that will affect my baby. What should I do.. sighhh

It will not affect the baby. Just make sure you have ample rest, drink more water, take vitamin C daily, and only take pregnancy safe medication. Do not self medicate! You can start taking folic acid for your baby now.

Thank you :) sometimes my phelgm will cause me to cough abit if I did not expel the phlegm. Hopefully it will be a smooth pregnancy and baby will be healthy. I have started taking folic acid :) thanks!

Hi, I have long term phlegm which I always have difficulty spitting out. I started tcm with physician Xie at Zou Yumin TCM 2 months ago and my phlegm greatly reduced! You may give it a try with her! 🩷

Hi mummy, I just suffer a miscarriage 2 weeks back… baby heart stopped beating at week 9. sigh I’m thinking to see tcm to recover my body and also do something to my chronic phelgm. Is her waiting time long?
