Toddler blinking a lot lately

Hi my toddler is 2 and he has been blinking a lot lately. Im a lil worried and wondering if any mummy encounter this before? Do u get his eyes check? My husband seems to think its just dry eyes due to crazy hot weather lately.

Hi Jolene, did your daughter eventually enrol at Greenland @Fernvale? Appreciate your feedback on the playgroup, the teachers, the experiences, the quality, hygiene, etc, as we are planning to enrol our daughter into the playgroup next year Jan 2025 also. There are very limited feedbacks regarding this childcare centre. so would appreciate your help on this. Thanks!

Number of poo per day

Hi Is it normal that toddler immediately shit after every meal? Recently my 2 year toddler has been like that. The weight doesn’t seem to go up As he keep shitting after every meal. 3 times per day solid poo Thanks Glynnis

Milk limitation per day

Hi mummies, do you limit your toddler milk since he or she is on solid now? Otherwise too much milk they cannot eat much.

Yes, it is recommended to gradually reduce the amount of milk your toddler drinks as they start to eat more solid foods. As your toddler's diet becomes more varied, their need for milk will decrease.

Teachers at preschool

Hi Mummies, what will u guys do if this situation happened to your toddler? So to begin with, My daughter is in Nursery 2 in pcf sparkletots . Today she did tell me that her classmates push her till she fell down and she cried, her teacher console her and to my surprised my daughter told me that her teacher said to her DONT TELL MUMMY (FRIEND NAME) PUSH U OK. So what is her teacher motive? Why must she teach my daughter to tell lies and not be honest? Its already been like 2 3 times her classmates will push her , from different person but we just been keep quiet because we do understand its a kids and sometimes they are quite playful wanna play around with friends. Just that today, i cant expect her teacher teach her to lie and not be honest.

Best to talk to principal and keep pressing them for an explanation, or if there is CCTV at the centre can request to have a look at it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to say your kid is lying. Just sharing my experience, sometimes kids are little cheekies. I have a friend’s kid (5) who fell flat on the floor (tripped on her own) with all of us there but she got up and told her mum “my friend (name) pushed me so I fell” 😅. Her mum knows that friend too, but her friend wasn’t there 😂.

What are your preparations before your child entered pre-school?

Hi, I do not think there can be any preparation for the kid as kid doesn't understand it till the time he is in the school for the first time. I was counselling my baby for weeks before she finally had to go to school. Every night I used to tell her how fun school is going to be friends and teachers and new toys each day. So when the D-day came, my baby was so happy dressed and carrying the little tiny bag. We clicked the pictures of her first day and she posed happily for each picture, but after 20 minutes when we were in her school, she was howling like anything.
