Hello, im 18 weeks 3 days pregnant and currently having a mild fever and sore throat.. work in a clinic asked for my doctor for medication eg lozenges, fever med.. but was told the medication at work is not suitable for pregnant lady.. what should i do? Do i go for other gp clinic??? Whole body is aching ?

There is no medication allowed for a pregnant woman except paracetamol. Other than that ( if you have any medical problems, you will be supplied with your medication according to your situation and under monitored by your doctor). If you just having fever, sore throat, flu, just take paracetamol and do not exceed the normal strength and if can only take if you really need it. Drink plenty of water and eat healthy food

Recommendations for Obstetrician KKH

Hi mummies! I'm on my first pregnancy and am wondering who I should engage as my fixed obstetrician? Would be thankful to hear some reviews! ♡

I don't have personal experience but many recommend Dr John Tee. I met Dr Ee Tat Xin before during my fertility checks and thought he was very patient and reassuring.

Stomachache week 4 pregnancy

Hi is it normal to have stomachache during early pregnancy? And is it normal to have a bit of a tug at the womb area during this stage? Is it implantation? No spotting etc, I hope baby is fine! Have yet to see a gynae as baby still quite small to spot anything

I had a lot of mild cramps in the first trimester and Dr told me it could be the muscles and ligaments stretching too. If no heavy bleeding, should be fine!

Nothing is appetising

I'm in my first trimester and nothing is appetising to me. Literally nothing. I'll spend an hour looking through apps for food but nothing. Then when I do eat for the sake of eating, I want to vomit out whatever I ate. Is it normal? What is this feeling?
