Less is more? Or more is enough.

Should i give my 3 wk old baby 60mls every 2hr or 90mls every 3hr? Now i am giving her 90mls every 3hr but she always making a fuss at 2 hr mark. If every 2hr, i can say goodbye to my sleep. 🙃#1stimemom #firstbaby

If baby wants more, can increase intake to maybe 100mls? Can she finish? It’s usually trial and error. 😅 sometimes fussing may not be due to hunger too..

co-sleeping

I know there's a lot of debate around co-sleeping, and many experts warn against it. However, I wanted to share my personal experience and why I made the choice to co-sleep with my baby despite the warnings. From the moment my baby was born, I felt a deep discomfort leaving them alone in their crib. The thought of them sleeping in a separate space made me anxious and restless. I tried several times to get used to it, but I couldn’t shake off the worry and fear that something might happen while they were out of my sight. Eventually, I decided to trust my instincts and let my baby sleep next to me. It felt natural and comforting to have them close. I could easily check on them, make sure they were breathing okay, and respond immediately if they needed anything. This gave me peace of mind and helped both of us sleep better. I understand the concerns and potential risks associated with co-sleeping, and I took extra precautions to make our sleeping arrangement as safe as possible. I ensure there's a firm mattress, no loose bedding, and I never co-sleep if I’m overly tired or have consumed alcohol. For me, co-sleeping has fostered a stronger bond and a sense of security. It’s what works best for us right now, even if it goes against conventional advice. I’m curious to hear from others—have any of you chosen to co-sleep despite the warnings?

Which formula is better for infants? Similac, Nan or S26?

My 19-days old has been drinking Similac but I’m thinking of trying either Nan or S26. Standard wise, which one is better & most commonly used? Also, any opinions on the mentioned formulas? #postnatal #Needadvice #AskingAsAMom #askmommies

I was told if baby is doing fine best not to switch the brand of formula. If baby having issues with the formula being used then can consider to change the brand.

Amount Of Milk Baby Should Be Drinking

Hi Mummies, currently my bb is at week 6 and drinking 90ml-110ml. Wanted to adjust to 120ml few days ago but doc said we're overfeeding him (?) we should be feeding 80 - 90ml. He mentioned bb is gaining weight normally in the 50% percentile. (Pretty conflicting statements). Wondering what's the actual amount bb should be drinking at this week & when do we increase the amount? He's currently at 90ml feeding within 2½-3hrs. #Needadvice #firsttimemom

If you want to increase, gradual do so every 10ml. In this way you will not over feed him. See his cue also.
