I giving my 7 months LO fruit s puree ready made type. Yesterday LO went for injections and the nurse asked me what did I feed LO. I say milk 150ml about 3hrs and I give fruit puree once day let LO let LO try the taste of it. And the nurse was so shocked and keep saying must give cereal and porridge already lei, let him eat twice a day if LO like it. I say puree is okay right? She say no no must give LO porridge and can give egg and a lot of other food she lost down. I was shocked and I wondering isn't doctor suppose to be the one telling me when to let LO try egg and those allergy food to see reaction? But the nurse say is okay one. Just let you LO eat don't just give him milk. I not sure because I know that before 1 years old milk is the main food. Solid food just let him try and give abit not too much , as I worry he cannot take it too much. I not sure. Don't know should I.listen to the nurse anot?

I don't like it when my mil n sil share utensils with my 1 year old . They would often use the spoon or fork that they have used to eat their meal to feed my LO with a few spoonfuls of rice or meat. I find it so unhygienic! Even I don't use the spoon that I have used to feed my young child . I told my mil n sil once but I think my mil got offended n say ," why ? My saliva is poison is it ?" Faint !

Hi al, my 2m baby suddenly change her sleep pattern. She used to sleep soundly and wake up 2-3 hrs to feed then fall back to sleep. Recently she woke up midnight and 4-5 am and refuse to go to sleep. I need to let her suckle and hold her for an hour+ until she fall asleep. If I put her on her bed to quickly she wil wake up and the whole process start again. Is it because we take off her swaddle? She always kick herself out and sweating inside even in aircon room.

My LO is 7 months and I offer him abit of puree he likes it after that I give him water but he drink half way and was playing with the bottle while drinking he suddenly cough and vomited all the puree he eat. It been like everything he cough and he will vomit. Even he drinks his milk.. not immediately but after awhile if he cough he will keep coughing.
