I am at 29 weeks, but my office is still assigning me new work to take charge of. Is it common?

I feel like they are neglecting the fact that I am going maternity leave soon and just loading me with responsibilities. Should I be concerned? I don't have to respond during maternity leave right? #stressed

Technically at 29 weeks, you are still supposed to work as usual and what you are tasked till your maternity leaves start. But yes, you don't have to respond during maternity leave. Just handover to your cover or your boss whatever is left before your maternity leaves start.

Spasms in my belly when I walk

I am 30 weeks pregnant and when I walk I feel some tightening/spasms/pulling sensation in one specific spot of my belly. It just comes and goes and not lingering. Is this normal? FTM here and my gynaecologist is on leave.

My legs start to get swollen during 25 weeks..is there any ways to reduce the swollenness?

Drink more water, cut down on sodium and caffeine. Elevate legs when you lie down.

Xiaomi CCTV used as baby monitor

Trying to plan where to put CCTV since we are getting a helper, and was thinking to use one of them as baby monitor. Anyone has any experience to share using Xiaomi as baby monitor? Please do share (a bit lost😥). Thanks!

Gestational diabetes diagnosed but baby weight and BMI normal

Hi, i was just diagnosed with gestational diabetes last week, now is week 28. My private gynae didnt mention to do finger prick, just say control carbs and sugar intake. Im worried how to monitor if dont finger prick and no dietician referred to as well. For GD, do we need to see endocrine doc? Any suggestions what i should do now besides eating healthy and exercise? Am quite worried.

i have GD and on insulin. yeah my baby weight is normal. its best to get the accu check instant for u to track. its better that way. i find difficult to control cause im always hungry but along the way with the help of insulin it helps abit..

Vaccinations during week 25

Dr suggested getting vaccinated for whooping cough and flu vaccine but I am not too sure if I should go ahead with it due to the side effects of the vaccination.

I took both. No side effects for me. The jabs not only protect you, but also the baby inside so I think it's quite important to take.
