Gestational Diabetes During Pregnancy

Hi, can i know any mummies has similar issue as me? I was told that i have this gestational diabetes after my glucose test. The range of the result is not much of a difference. But hospital requires me to attend zoom or even meet the nurse to know more on this issue. As i am heavily pregnant 7 months plus i am feeling soo fatigue already plus i dont wish them to stress me out on this as its not high. Anyone have this issue? Isit a must to attend or do all this? 😭😞

I’ve been diagnosed too and have been monitoring my glucose level close to a month already, I think it depends on your choice. There’s definitely risk in gestational diabetes and it would be good to find out more. I controlled my diet (very tough) but at the same time I understood my body and diet better which can minimise the risk which comes with GD.

Hello there.. has anyone felt pain while walking at the lower right side at abt 35 weeks.. is it sign of labour? I didn't have such thing at previous pregnancy...#advicepls

Baby full moon celebration

First time doing full moon celebration. Was wondering for those ang ku kueh cakes boxes distribution, do we get them delivered together with invitation to the full moon actual day celebration? Or just purchase the boxes and use it as door gift on the actual celebration day itself at the venue? How about those not attending? Any advise? Thank you!

2 yrs back when i did, i didnt celebrate n just deliver rich n good set to some of the relatives. I tink when my baby full mth tis yr, we not gonna do it alr coz very mafan.,

Cramps at week 33 pregnancy

I am currently at week 33 of pregnancy. Just want to check if anyone experience cramps? Felt it like for the entire day -no spotting, no bleeding, still manageable but feels like menses cramps. I can still feel the baby's kicks and movement.

Does it comes with back ache? I’m week33 day4 and I’m feeling the tightness, cramp and back ache. I can still feel baby’s movements also. Am wondering if what I experienced is normal too….. or is the baby’s pressing some nerves??

Can you say no to Trainee docs or Nurse

Just wondering, can we say no to having trainee doctors or Nurses during delivery? I am not keen to have any trainee during my delivery. In NUH.

You may wish to speak with them of your concern and your request. I never had any trainee doctor/nurse during my delivery. However I had them during my pre natal check up. Well trained and I learn a few new things as a first time mum back then in 2018.

I wanted to ask I’m currently 8 weeks pregnant and I have to wait till my next scan which is when I reach 9 weeks I’m worried about my baby’s heartbeat how would I know if my baby heartbeat is always pumping and healthy without any scans even when i don’t have any signs of blood jus normal pregnancy discharge

Hi. Do you have any symptoms? Pregnancy discharge white and transparent? I understand your anxiety but all u can do now is talk to your BB. when I was at week 8 to 10, my symptoms were quite bad. I had migraines and mother of all symptoms, vaginal bleed. I was admitted for awhile in kkh. I was given progesterone. BB had positive heartbeat all the way and I insisted on additional scans to feel assured. I had very vivid dreams at night, apparently I googled 😅 it is part of pregnancy. Now on my 33rd week and looking forward to delivery in 4 to 5 weeks time as BB boy is already quite big. at 2.3kg and counting
