Week 21 - heartburn and less movement

Feeling heartburn easily and less baby movement. Is it normal? My baby used to kick me back when I disturb but the activity is alittle low this couple of days. Does anyone feel the same? FTM here

No worries I was paranoid too when my baby was not active as usual, we’re still early to feel regular and strong movements , usually third trimester we can start counting

should i get blackmores pregnancy & breastfeeding vitamins or wait for kkh

i recently got positive with test kit. understand that folic is very important, so im thinking if i should just get blackmore pregnancy & breastfeeding vitamin first OR wait till my first visit to kkh on Thursday to see if doc will prescribe me any supplements?

Maternity clothing

Hi there! Was wondering if anyone has recommendations for maternity bottoms, leggings (for workouts - as I am an instructor/ PT) & linen shorts I tried visiting Uniqlo but they only have sizes M & L - lots of loose fabric around the pelvis area. And they don’t have maternity shorts either, even when I tried sizing up their regular clothes the waist bands are all too stiff and uncomfortable. Went through ASOS too - not many choices, quite a number with bad reviews such as fabric being too sheer Not looking to purchase from SHEIN as my hubby audited their company once and he knows what goes through their backend process. Also the news just came out that their clothing toxicity levels are a lot higher than usual 😅 I feel like I’m left with no options, SHEIN is a lot more affordable but I don’t intend to buy from there anymore. Is there any brand out there that is good where I don’t have to spent a hefty amount of money on? 🥲

If you really want to prioritize comfort, definitely check out Lululemon. Yes though it’s pricey, maybe consider getting 1-2 only to try for a start? :) The comfort is really worth it.

Baby's movements

My 1st pregnancy. Iam goin to be 21wks. Yet to feel baby movements. Felt the fluttering. But baby movements yet to ? Is this a concern ?

It’s not a concern no worries. I heard some may only start feeling week 23-25. Your placenta position also affects too, whether you can feel earlier or later.

Experiencing cramps at 20 weeks

Hi mamas, do you still experience cramps at 20 weeks? I’ve been cramping for 3 days consecutive and dont know if it’s normal ):

I’m in week 19 and having bad cramps too! Went to see a gynae and she said it’s normal as the uterus is expanding fast

Frequent urination

Anyone having difficulties sleeping every night ? I keep waking up every 3 hrs to pee. Week 19 now..

I try not to drink so much water at night to avoid waking up too many times, that helps.

Vomiting n nausea

Anyone trim 2 still vomiting? Cos i am currently week 18 but still vomiting .

It’s normal. I feel nauseous and loss of appetite throughout my whole pregnancy 😔 some mommies are luckier to have enjoyed honeymoon in trimester 2.

Flu throughout pregnancy

Hi! I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant. Have been having flu and cough almost every week. When i'm almost recovering, it'll come back again. Should i be worried? Read some medical articles online about how prolonged cough/flu can affect baby's development. My next scan is at 20 weeks.

Hi, do get checked by your gynae. I had asthma that comes & goes, also i had COVID while pregnant with my 1st baby. I had multiple flu as well throughout. Follow your guts. Get checked just to be safe

Avent steriliser and dryer or uv steriliser?

Definitely Haenim for me. Tried Avent but I feel that it’s not entirely dried whereas Haenim, 30 mins dried and sterilised.
