isit advicable to take chinese herbs / tonic (ie. bird nest with bao sheng) during 1st to 2nd trimester or better to avoid at all cost?

Avoid in first trimester! I intend to take bird nest in second trimester. Not sure about bao sheng

Pregnant at 5weeks++

I’m 38 this year and this is my first pregnancy. It’s a pregnancy ive been praying for and I’m so happy it happened. Due to my age, I’m very nervous about the gynae appointment I’ve scheduled next week, it’s such a mixed feeling of happiness and anxiousness. I’m feeling nauseous and some tiredness during the day but still manageable. I hope everything will turn out fine at my first scan.. any mummies feeling the same?

I'm 45 this year and am currently expecting my 2nd at 14 weeks. I had my first child at 41 with no complications except for GD. So, try not to worry so much! Rest as much as possible! Normal to be tired, our body is working very hard!

Waiting for next appt

How do you cope or feel about baby growth while waiting for next appt? I just had my appt oj 13th Feb and next appt is 27th Mar.. like 1.5 mths to wait... do u guys wait this long?

I once made another appointment before the next checkup, just to see my baby 😊

Hi mommies, i am 9 weeks now and it’s my 2nd pregnancy. I delivered my first born with c-section, nowadays i feel my lower abdomen little heavier and sometimes i feel sharp pain in my old stitch area… it’s normal or i need to consult with my doctor??

Ointment for pregnancy mum

Hi mummies .. I would like to ask, what ointment should we use if we feel like our upper stomach is full of air ??

I'm using this TYT Herbal Medicated Oil for my stomach bloating. Got it at the expo Mummy's Fair in Jan. The formula is gentle for kids as well, it doesnt cause you to get teary eyes in case you rub your eye contour later.

Bad dreams abt miscarriage twice

Is it normal to have this kind of dreams? But the dream was a week apart .. i broke down shortly after the gynae did an ultrasound after i had my first bad dream .. this is my 3rd pregnancy also . I just gave birth in June last year ..

Focus on carrying your baby to full term, see your bad dreams as a reminder of the potential dangers around you for you to pay attention to it but nothing else. Have a safe pregnancy ❤️

Currently I am with NUH subsidised, am considering to change to NUH private. But I have concern if I have preterm labour - wondering will it be considered as private patient or subsidised( probably will cost a fortune ?) #justbeingparanoid

Won’t be a problem as long as you’re a Singaporean. If you ever go into preterm labour (touch wood) as a private patient in NUH, you can always downgrade to subsidised prior to delivery. That’s what they would advice you to as well. Mainly for baby cause the class status for baby would follow yours. And the NICU fees for A class preterm baby (when there’s no difference) is exhorbitant..
