Blue veins in first tri?

Today I felt an uncommon tenderness on my left hip near my lower back. Upon closer look I realize that I have blue veins on both sides which I'm never noticed before. Is this normal in early pregnancy? Currently 7.5 weeks.

When should I visit a gynae?

I just DIY tested pregnant today, should I visit the gynae tomorrow or there is no need to? Some of my friends advise to do a blood test at normal GP to confirm pregnancy, some advise to go straight to gynae.

Congratulations! 😊 Depending on which route you prefer. For private, call your preferred clinic (gynae) and schedule an appointment. I called mine at Week 5 and was given an appointment on Week 7. For subsidised route, schedule an appointment with polyclinic or GP then get referral. 😊

Week 6 ultrasound

Gynae says I’m week 6, going on week 7. But ultrasound at week 6 shows empty waterbag. Gynae said it’s not normal and could be MC. But also mention not to worry and come back at week 7 for another scan. Am very worried. Anyone had similar experience?

If u have a pregnancy symptom at 5wks but when u check pregnancy test is negative is it possible?

Long waiting time

I read somewhere that public hospitals have long waiting time and some mums had their first scan only at 12-13 weeks. Should I go to a private clinic for my first check up? I’m 5W1D now, 1st pregnancy.

Anxiety while waiting for the next 2wks

How do you deal with the anxiety of waiting till you see the gynae for the first time?

Do what you like. Eat all the food you want, watch dramas, shopping, work. 😃 Alternatively, get a fetal doppler.

How am I going to confirm that I am pregnant now?

The due date is based on what you keyed in and it does not work the same for everyone. Your EDD will change according to baby’s size during every scan and when you’re gonna give birth also depends on your condition (if inducing is needed) and also when baby wants to come out. However do note that TAP’s app dates seems to always go off by a day or two. So I’d advice not to stress yourself too much over the dates. Take a pregnancy test……?

Does Polyp affects pregnancy?

Hello fellow mommies, I just found out that I’m pregnant 2 days ago however I’m actually scheduled for a polyp removal following week & IVF next month. I had 2 miscarriages previously & am very concerned that the polyp would cause another miscarriage. My polyp is 1.2cm. I can’t find much information online regarding polyp before successful pregnancy, most of the articles recommend me to remove it before trying for kid. But it’s too late for that now. Anybody experienced something similar? Thanks In advance!

nope polyp won’t affect pregnancy. i didn’t remove mine throughout pregnancy. in fact my gynae said a removal procedure may risk the pregnancy instead. my baby is now a happy and healthy 1 year old. if you want i can share more with you, can drop your social media or telegram username
