Baby's gender
I did NIPT (since my FTS is high risk) and found out that it can also show the baby's gender. Am excited but not prepared as always thought will know only after 21 wks during the ultrasound. I am planning to do a gender reveal party so do u think is ok if i tell the gynae that i do not want to know the gender yet? (Since my main priority is the downsyndrome result). Will they still gv us the slip of paper of the gender for us to keep? Abit paiseh want ask dr to not reveal :D
Does your taste bud change throughout pregnancy?
I am entering 2nd tri now and realised my taste bud has changed, the food I used to like seems a bit plain and bland, instead I prefer food with a lot of garlic like garlic kangkong kind😂 I am also more sensitive to smell 🤢
Budget for raising baby (foreigner)
Any insights on how much it costs to raise a baby for the first 0-18mos in Singapore without government subsidy (i.e., for foreigners)? Trying to prepare for a monthly budget but have no idea how much things cost on average (e.g., diapers, milk, check-ups, meds, etc.)

For moms who had a gender reveal party, did you know your baby’s sex beforehand or were you also surprised during the reveal? What are the pros and cons of knowing (or not knowing) beforehand? I kinda want to be surprised but I also don’t want any gender disappointment to show in case the reveal is different from what I’d hoped…

I am having problem with swallowing pills. My gynae doesnt have the oral form. I remember seeing from elsewhere the alternative is Osso-aid. Anyone know where can i get this from? Or other oral form is alright:)
