Hi my toddler was born in feb 2023 by csec. Currently going for elective csec in jan 2026. Would like to know if the pain is tolerable? Most of what I read really scares me because they said it's going to be more painful than the first. #askmommies #pregnancy #jan2026

Weight gain and loss

Hi. I'm currently pregnant 2nd time but this time I only gain almost 4kg despite being in my 3rd trimester. My previous pregnancy I gained 20kg. Is this normal? Even baby estimation weight is very low

while weight gain can vary between pregnancies, gaining only 4kg by 3rd trimester... your gynae can better monitor & offer guidance 🙏💕

Whooping cough n flu vaccine.

Does anyone never take both vaccines during pregnancy? Still wondering if I should opt for it or not . Doctor recommended but still 50/50 on it.

I didn’t take any (I’m scared of needles), LO is full term and healthy.

same here! i start to have it at 25 weeks or might be earlier. during consultation the docs said it’s normal for as long blood pressure is normal as well.

Recommendation for Gynae at KKH

Hi mummies! I am currently 28 weeks and has plan to switch to private at KKH. Any Gynae recommendations? Thanks!

Hello! My 2nd delivery was with Dr Lee Jia Min and 3rd with Dr Suzanna Sulaiman. I find both Drs very friendly and always helpful in answering any of our questions or concerns. In terms of prenatal checkups, Dr Lee seemed a little rushed while Dr Suzanna will take her time to attend to us. Both waiting time are basically 1 hour ++. As for the delivery itself, I remember Dr Lee giving us a mobile number to contact when I was due. Not sure if it was really her responding to our messages, but we did get quick replies when we sent her updates on WhatsApp. As for Dr Suzanna, no mobile number was provided. Both were there to receive the baby and came by to check on me before the baby came out. So all in all, I had a positive experience with both Drs. You can try googling them hehe. Hope you will find a suitable gynae for yourself! ☺️

Please don’t self medicate during pregnancy! Go to a doctor, inform the doctor you’re currently pregnant and he/she will prescribe you pregnancy safe medication.
