Gaining weight in 2nd trimester

Im wondering if i should be worried that im not gaining as much as weight as i should now that im in my 2nd trimester. Anyone experiencing the same thing?

If baby is still growing and baby is gaining weight, then it’s not a concern. I did not gain weight until 1 month before labour. But baby did gain weight.

Hello, it would be easier to look for nanny in Facebook. There are some baby sitting and nanny groups.

Should I get antenatal package?

Going for my 12 week check next week. Gynae clinic has this package for Moms at 12 week gestation for about $1200 (about 11 consultations). Do you recommend taking it up?

Spotting during pregnancy week 6

I started spotting at mid week 5 and went for a prenatal checkup at kkh. Did an ultrasound, and everything looks good. Was prescribed some progesterone medicine for 2 weeks. It has been around 1 week and 3 days (currently 7 weeks pregnant) since I have taken the medicine, but I'm still having light pink, but mainly brown discharge. Does anyone have a similar experience and can advise what to do? Should I continue to monitor until I finish the dosage or head back for another visit to the gynae?

My doc says it’s old blood and prolly an overworked body. Rest up!

Worries - repeat of incident

I had a silent miscarriage (no heartbeat detected at 8w of pregnancy) and underwent D&C last year. I recently found out that i’m pregnant but i’m worried the incident is going to repeat itself…kind of dreading the upcoming appt with my Gynae. Anyone with similar experience?

I hope all went well for you. It happened to me 2x in 2022, and I dread every scan I go to now…

12 weeks and have not gone to check

hi this is my 5th pregnancy and im 12 weeks now but i have not gone to poly to get referral for hospital yet. will i get scolded by them for going late? cause i found out quite late too about 9 weeks cause im bfeeding so my period isnt regular.

You will have to go poly ASAP and request for the earliest appointment date to be booked with the preferred hospital. My #1 I went for a checkup at the hospital only at 12 weeks. I was asked why I missed my first trimester. I was supposed to go for all the necessary tests but I didn't

Hello mummies. Is NIPT done at Kkh similar to harmony test? I took Panorama test for my first pregnancy in private hospital. Not sure how different are these.

Technically, it's the same, branding different. cost's also different. I did at private tmc panorama too and now switch to harmony at kkh to keep tests cost's low. technically the same thing.
