First food for baby

What brand of rice cereal is recommended as baby's first food? Son is turning 6mo soon. Thanks in advance! :)

It really depends on your baby! We started with Gerber rice cereal back then, but my boy didn't like it after several tries. So we just went with a variety of purees instead.
