Jaundice level high

Just sent my 3 day old newborn to polyclinic for jaundice check up. Her jaundice level reaches up to 232 and was sent for blood test and dr told me blood test shows jaundice level was 217 and test is ok. So is it perfectly normal for newborn’s jaundice level to be above the average chart? Worried mum here 😰

Don't worry Mummy, last time my baby's highest jaundice level was 268. Had phototherapy for 2 days then slowly reduce and only cleared jaundice test when she was 3 weeks old. I remember the doctor said after a certain age, above average jaundice level is no longer risky. Now she's already 2.5 yo, active and healthy :)

it's very common. Mine at 3 days old was 254 so needs to do blood test as well. Only on the 7th day it dropped to 105.

Try to make her drink more. Even when she is sleeping every 2 hours try to feed her. It will help to reduce the jaundice.
