Can i request to be induced at 39 weeks?

I am 39w4days currently and i am having trouble walking with so much pain on my pelvic area. Is it possible to walk in to hospital and request to be induced? I currently do not have a fix gynae thus asking. Baby’s weight is about 3.2kg and i was 2cm dilated when i was38 wks
