- 2025-11-17Hi mummies, could you share some tips on helping my son to stop thumb-sucking? I read online that they'll slowly stop at 1 but he's 18m and still not showing signs of stopping T_T we've tried the bitter water from shopee but no difference in taste at all. My worry about this is his teeth is growing and I do not want it to affect the growth of his teeth. Would love to listen to some of your ideas. Thanks!
- 2025-11-17who really needs guidance from Singaporean parents who have been through similar situations.
She was married in 2018 and divorced at the end of 2020. She has 100% care and control of her two young children (ages 6 and 4), with 50% shared custody.
Her ex-husband is supposed to pay $500 per child monthly, but he has not been paying since July. She is already planning to enforce this through the Family Court.
What’s worrying is that during his recent access time, he did not send the kids to school and refused to take MC for them. He also has very little childcare experience — most of the time during his access, his parents (the grandparents) are actually the ones taking care of the children, not him.
She is especially concerned because the older child has asthma, and the father refused to follow her instructions about his medical needs.
On top of this, he has been posting untrue things about her on social media, like accusing her of spreading rumours in his older son’s school — something she has never done.
She is very worried about:
• neglect during access
• refusing to send the kids to school
• refusing to get MC
• ignoring the child’s asthma care
• relying on his parents instead of caring for them himself
• unpaid maintenance since July
• social media harassment
For parents who have faced similar issues in Singapore, what would you recommend?
Should she consider applying to vary the access arrangements?
Is this something to raise to MSF or the Family Justice Courts?
Should the school be informed?
Really appreciate any advice so I can pass it to her. Thank you.

- 2025-11-18Hello mommies..
Can we choose to have a planned C section at kkh? Or do the gynae push us for natural delivery?
I’m hearing both types of feedbacks. My worries is , we will end up having C section only after normal delivery fails and get the bill for both normal and caesarean.
Can you pls suggest me your experience if you have given birth ? Thank you..!

- 2025-11-22Currently 10 weeks pregnant, craving so bad to sip for a lipton tea with hand pressed lemons. I've read too much articles on having some tea while pregnant. Some of them stated that it's safe to drink tea during pregnancy. Some say it contains caffeine. Mommies, do u sip on tea everyday during your pregnancy?

- 2025-11-22Hey! So I’ve had SCH at 12weeks(bleeding in the beginning +brownish blood for days) .. still resolving. Yesterday the doctor saw the scan &saw my cervix was 2.8cm so i’ve been given utrogestan 200mg (vaginal). The discharge is there (brown/pink) but also red sometimes (like fresh blood) but lasts only for 1 wipe after peeing. Has anybody else experienced this? Idk if i should go to the doctor with every bleeding that I see which is not continuous. Its so stressful 😭😭
