- 2025-09-09Hello mummies, I am thinking of going to either Thomson medical hosp or SGH for delivery. Anyone has a recommendation of a good female gynae at these hospitals? Thank you in advance 🙏
- 2025-09-09I’ve taken 2 urine pregnancy test which shows positive and went to my clinic for a referral. The doctor did not do any confirmation test and my gynae visit is scheduled only on 15th Oct (~11 weeks). But I’ve read that the first visit would usually be around 6-8 weeks…. Is this an acceptable practice? Should I seek for 2nd consult? When did you have your first scan/ pregnancy confirmation done?

- 2025-09-11#Needadvice currently 6 weeks pregnant and having really bad morning sickness which started at 5 weeks + . Been taking maxalon and bonjesta from my gyane. It works really well to take the edge off the morning sickness. But I still feel terrible overall - no appetite and feeling like a dead lump in the pit of my stomach.

- 2025-09-11Hi mummies, my son has been twitching his left eye since june 2025, slowly he starts twitching his right eye, now he's twitching both eyes especially when hes eating. Its starting to get him irritated and he will show that he's in discomfort. We have seen the eye specialist and neurology, done egg and mri scan but its all fine, baby is 11 months now. We managed to get the video of his eye twitching, is anybody able to help? The senior paediatric neurologist said its nothing serious and just let it be but clearly baby is really in alot of discomfort. Does anyone know what's the cause of it? Please help. - 2025-09-12Hii mommies,
I'm 6 weeks postpartum, had high BP 180/100 5 days postpartum. Dr did all the blood works, no postpartum preclampsia. Was given a dose of labetolol at the emergency. Discharged with no medications. BP settled after 1 week.
My BP was 100/110 over 70/85 throughout my whole pregnancy.
Now im feeling persistently dizzy and having low BP 85/60. Getting blurred vision, tingly tongue and hands and shortness of breath intermittently.
Seen my gynae yesterday. BP was normal there 100/70. Dr did some blood works too, came back normal.
I'm partially breastfeeding, pumping 3 hourly, sometimes I skip night pumps, output about 60-100mls each pump, still on prenatal vitamins and iron tablets.
Unsure if it is related, this is an IVF pregnancy and I was in preterm labour from 32 weeks- delivered at 36 weeks (induced).
Just very afraid that I might drop my daughter when carrying her.
Anyone encountered this?#pregnancy #firsttimemom #Needadvice #lowbloodpressure #dizziness #lightheaded

- 2025-09-12I just found out im pregnant because i missed my period this month. But to track my edd my last period was only half a day. It did not come across my mind that the last "period" might be just implantation bleeding. Now I am unsure. #pregnancy #Needadvice #implantationbleeding

- 2025-09-13I felt so useless as i didn't do well at taking care of my child. The mom guilt. We aware of it probably at 2nd month, but the doc mention he saw nothing. So end up at 3 month plus we decide to bring her to poly to get referal and seek hospital help. We think she is having flat head syndrome aka positional plagiocephaly.
Anyone ever gone thru that? How was it like? I really felt guilty cause this is our 3rd baby. Most of the time i took care of her, so it can be my own fault. Cause husband juggling the other two.
- 2025-09-13Hi Mummies, currently my bb is at week 6 and drinking 90ml-110ml. Wanted to adjust to 120ml few days ago but doc said we're overfeeding him (?) we should be feeding 80 - 90ml. He mentioned bb is gaining weight normally in the 50% percentile. (Pretty conflicting statements).
Wondering what's the actual amount bb should be drinking at this week & when do we increase the amount? He's currently at 90ml feeding within 2½-3hrs.
